The corner fitting is intended for freight containers, smaller than the standard size. It is in the form of a hollow cube with one corner removed. The cube is aligned with the corner of the container so that the missing cube corner coincides with the container corner. The hole (14) made by removing the cube corner provides access to holes (19) in the cube side walls. These holes receive bolts which enable adjacent containers to be bolted together. A slot (20) in the top face (12) provides access for a lifting hook.

The invention relates to containers, namely, corner fasteners, and is used to construct containers and connect the latter to each other.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the connection between the containers.

A three-sided container square elbow is a sheet with 1–4 bend lines deposited on it, dividing the workpiece into four sections 5–8, which form when the blank wall is bent, two of which are 6 and 7 are adjacent to one bend line and are adjacent to the openings 9 and 10 for connecting the containers when stacked, and the third wall 11 is formed by two sections 5 and 8. The three-sided container square from the workpiece (Fig. 1) is filled as follows.
Sections 5 through 8 along lines 1 through 4 are bent in the same direction under a right angle, with sections 5 and 8 overlapping and welding. Thus, the upper wall 11 of the square (Fig. 2) is formed from two sections, which ensures high strength when lifting the container.
